Technical Specifications
The TV interface is completely configurable. Graphical design can be tailored to customer requirements; by default, inVoDKA.TV offers customizable layouts that suit most needs. The cataloging system allows hierarchical asset management, and programming schedules allow for easy, flexible two-level management:

Content-level asset catalogue management. Contents are catalogued and hierarchically placed upon ingest or later following a tree of categories plus a labeling system.

Visual cataloging. The way contents are ordered and shown on screen can also be managed through the interface, choosing the ordering and selection criteria.
Content management is performed through a simple but powerful graphical application (VoDKA Management Desktop) that allows ingest, cataloging, transcoding management, channel creation, etc. The platform is a complete, end-to-end solution that integrates multiple products and software modules provided by LambdaStream.
The statistics module provides a thorough overview of requests and trends.
The video player is the same regardless of the encoding technology used; Flash, h.264, mpeg4, windows media, etc and offers volume control, play / stop, positioning, next/ previous video, quality selection, full screen, etc.
Multiple community-generating tools can be integrated (video sharing, recommendation) .
The system also manages advertising banners and external sources as RSS feeds, or dynamic external HTML code.Asset management and channel scheduling
Besides manual ingest with VoDKa Management Desktop, other interfaces are also provided for content ingest:

automated FTP. This allows for very easy integration with third-party applications, or a simple interface for unprivileged users to upload content.
