ANTARES is a flexible and scalable ESG platform that lets you integrate information coming from several heterogenous sources, from DVB feeds to video on demand services, and generate announce carousels and multicast sessions to be aired with the rest of services, keeping updated the handheld client.
ANTARES handles a dynamic and ever-changing information tree with data and metadata about the DCO (Datacast Operator), the available services (typically, the TV programs), how to access to those services, current and next events, and broadcast content properties.
This is stored and broadcasted as compressed fragments of an XML document, following different standards such as DVB-CBMS or OMA-BCAST:
